Hi, I’m Tim Hensley. I’m a product manager for Hobart Filler Metals. With the ACGIH recent reduction in their recommendation for manganese levels, we’ve developed a line of wire that we call the Element series. These wires come in metal core as well as flux core. The flux core wire is all positioned. There’s no reduction in the weld quality, no reduction in the performance of the wires. The wires operate the exact same way as normal wires do.
