Stainless steel continues to gain popularity in applications across the fabrication industry, namely due to its corrosion resistance, strength and toughness. Compared to welding mild steel, however, the material poses some challenges — especially for less experienced welders. 

Choosing the right welding process is key to gaining the best quality and ensuring an efficient, cost-effective approach to stainless steel applications. There is a give-and-take with every option, and no single welding process provides a perfect solution.
